Devastating Airstrikes in Lebanon Leave Hundreds Dead and Thousands Displaced

Lebanon is facing the most intense airstrikes, causing widespread destruction in residential areas and severe damage to thousands of homes and housing units. These attacks have led to a massive wave of displacement for families from the South, Beirut’s Southern Suburbs (Dahieh), and the Bekaa in search of safety.

To date, the number of displaced individuals in Sidon has surpassed fourteen thousand . They are currently distributed across schools and shelters, living in extremely difficult conditions that are worsening with the cold weather and the families' urgent need for heating and protection.

How is Ahlouna Association contributing on the ground?

Our teams are working on the field to provide essential supplies to displaced families and the most affected groups. We are currently focusing on:

• Food and Water: Providing hot meals from "Ahlouna Cuisine".

Hoping that with your support, we will be able to meet the following needs in the near future,

• Shelter and Bedding: Securing mattresses, pillows, and blankets for displaced families.
• Healthcare and Special Needs: Providing infant formula (up to one year old), diapers for children, the elderly, and people with special needs, as well as essential medications.
